Life decision

I came to Greece from Lausanne, Switzerland, in my early twenties, to join my family business that from the beginning of the last century had contributed to the development of agriculture and promoted the local industry into prosperity. This is where I actively involved and dedicated myself to. Twenty years later, having gained a considerable experience with the Greek market and becoming acquainted with the products the Greek land so generously offers, my attention was drawn once more to the wealth of the Hellenic earth that deserves to be treated honourably and with dignity.

Perfect combinations

My strong Hellenic roots and my love for Greece together with my Swiss upbringing and education ensure my own dedication to deliver a high quality product, based on solid production values. A Greek palate acknowledges good natural taste, the Swiss expertise demands working with high standards of technology and prompt distribution. I strongly believe that Greece, with the finest climate in the Mediterranean region and the perfect combination of sunshine, fertile soil and variety of olive trees, offers superior extra virgin olive oil.

I have always felt a strong connection to the land of my ancestors from my mother’s side of the family. My children were born and raised in Greece and we share the same strong affinity and affection for this country. There is a strong symbolism here of the Mediterranean rhythm in the natural flow of life. This incites me even more to want to promote high quality Greek products on the international agro-food market.

Conscious choice

With PHILIPPOS HELLENIC GOODS I choose to involve myself, to evolve towards the positive, the pure, the life giving source of olive oil from the country where it all started thousands of years ago. We look to our ancestors for advice when they used oil from this land, for good health and longevity. For them it was their way of life. For me it is to endorse with my personal integrity top quality products an olive oil distributor.
